We are excited to share with you a project many at The Friends of Israel have been a part of, Praise from Zion: A Collection of Jewish Worship Music by John Wilcox. Chris welcomes John Wilcox to the program this week to give us a behind the scenes glimpse of how God brought together 19 Jewish songs, many sung in both Hebrew and English. John wears many hats here at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. He is our Vice President of Finance as well as our worship leader at our national conferences.

It’s clear to see through the ages that God gave the Jewish people a heart for music. And that music has blessed Gentiles too! Every year at our conferences and through phone and mail correspondence we receive requests for Jewish music CDs. Zvi returned from a very dangerous military operation and visited with a family. He had a special guest with him, one of his commanding officers who also knew the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior.
