Eden to Eden, Part One
Sometimes it’s hard to see patterns in life. We can get so caught up with the day-to-day we forget to reflect and look back. It’s easy to do this with God’s story too. God’s Word opens with the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden. Then in the end it closes with the Tree of Life in the New Jerusalem. And what is in between these two is something that should humble us as believers in Jesus: God’s pursuit of His people. We see with the Jewish people throughout history and today. We see it with the Church in the New Testament and today. He’s bringing us back to Eden.
We’ll begin part one of the series at the beginning with Adam and Eve. As we begin this exciting series we hope you will take time to stop and look at the big picture as you read God’s Word. You’ll see His relentless pursuit in action. And this pursuit is not because God needs us, no it’s because He wants us!

The Importance of Being Thankful
We’re celebrating Thanksgiving this week in the United States and Chris is sharing from Romans 1. We’ll learn how the consequences of not being thankful to God, leads to hearts being darkened. It may seem extreme but as Chris will share, a thankless heart leads to inward focus and inward focus leads to a culture of darkness. A thankful heart towards the Creator God redirects your compass. We have so much to be thankful for in our lives. Let’s look to the One who holds the world in His hands and take time to thank Him for the great things He has done!
Apples of Gold
As Zvi encountered women from anti-missionary group he was met with hostility and hatred. Zvi defended himself calmly and used the Word of God as his defense. The women threatened to expose him for what he believed. Listen as Zvi tells them where his confidence comes from.
Zvi’s story is available in Elwood McQuaid’s book, “Zvi: The Miraculous Story of Triumph over the Holocaust,” available at our online store.
