If you read or watch the news you’ve seen the United States moved their embassy to Israel’s capital, Israel reacting to the terrorist organization Hamas at the Gaza border, and Iran is trying to expand through terror in Syria. Chris unpacks all that is happening in Israel and the Middle East in our first segment. And he reminds us we need to pray for wisdom for Israel as they defend themselves from their enemies.

Did you know that when you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus you are adopted into a family? You become part of the family of God! Although the local church is very important, sometimes we forget that we are all part of a bigger family. We’ll learn today about our roots as believers. Chris will take us back to Matthew 16 when Jesus was with His disciples at Caesarea Philippi. There He asked who people thought the Son of Man was. Then He asked the all important question, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” That is when He said that on those words that Peter confessed, He would build His church. That’s not a building or place—that’s us as believers!

Don’t miss this important truth about what the church looks like on a local level as well as a universal level. It’s an easy thing to forget or just not think about. But in reality, living who we are as believers in Jesus and being rooted in Him, changes everything!

Zvi noticed that a popular rabbi was coming to his town to speak. He decided to go and see what the man had to say. With over 300 people in attendance the rabbi told everyone that they needed to gain knowledge over faith in God. After praying for courage, Zvi stood up and asked the rabbi some hard questions that didn’t end the way he expected. Listen and find out how God used him!
